Steps on how to make a Straight Through Cable ( Patch Cable)

Materials needed:

1. LAN cable/ UTP
2. Crimping tool
3. RJ 45
4. Stripper
5. LAN tester


STRAIGHT THROUGH CABLING

1. Inspection of cable

- Make sure that the body of the wire has not been damaged, feel for lumps or anything unusual while examining the cables, as this can cause errors and may not even let your cable work. Also, avoid bending the cable to far past its bend radius because this can cause the copper inside to be damaged and not work correctly.


2. Stripping the Cable

Start by only stripping off about an inch of the jacket, to expose approximately an inch of wires. Be sure not to take off too much of the jacket, because it will have to be clamped down inside of an RJ45 connector.

3. Organize them into the correct color order straight through

Start by White Orange, Orange, White Green, Blue, White Blue, Green, White Brown, Brown T568B-T568B


4. Putting the Wires in the Connectors

Once the wires are flat, in order, and can reach all the way to the end of the connector, start to put them into the RJ45 connectors. Make sure that the tab on the connector is facing down, and while holding the wires flat and in order, slide the wires down to the end of the connector, till you can see all of the copper wires at the end, through the end of the plastic.


5. Crimping the Connector

RJ45 wire crimpers will be required, to hold the connector onto the cable. If the cable so far, has got all the wires correctly inside of the RJ45 connector, along with a bit of the cable jacket, then it should be ready to crimp the wire inside of the connector. The crimpers push down a wire locking piece inside that cannot be undone.


6. Testing the Cable

Last, in order to test the wire, either try using it on the live machines or use a cable tester to get detailed information about the wire in specific such as, what wires are where and how long is the whole cable. A tester can also determine what wires are in incorrect spots.

MATERIALS NEEDED IN ORDER TO MAKE VIRTUAL WINDOWS 10

Step 1: OPEN THE VIRTUAL MACHINE
Step 2: CREATE A VIRTUAL MACHINE
Click new, Put a name in your virtual machine and make sure it is windows 10 64-bit then click next

Step 3: Choose how much is the memory
you want for your virtual machine
Click next then click create


Step 4: Create Virtual Hard Disk
Click create

Step 5: Choose what kind of hard disk file
Click VHD then click next then click next and click create

Step 6: Run your virtual machine
Click start
Step 7: Install the windows 10
Click the file to browse the image file then click add then find the image file then click open, then click choose, then click start.

Step 8: Install the windows
click next and click install now

Step 9: click I accept the license terms then click next

Step 10: click custom

Step 11: Make partition

Step 12: wait for the installation to finish

Step 13: Select a region

Step 14: Select a keyboard layout and click next

Step 15: Select a keyboard layout and click next

Step 16: Select a keyboard layout and click next

Step 17: put a password or just skip

Step 18: accept Cortana

Step 19: You are done installing windows 10 in the virtual machine
